Gorgeous pub with a fabulous garden and outdoor space for drinks and dining. Super big bed which was really comfy and excellent breakfast options. Very close to footpaths through the Forest and 10 mins to Lyminster ferry.
Welcoming staff and a beautiful location. Ideally situated for exploring the local area or down to the coast. Great beer garden and the Inn building is full of character. Accommodation was comfortable and very clean, with rooms tucked away in the upstairs of the Inn.
So refreshing to stay in non-chain pub where they obviously care about their guests and deliver an uniquely personal
service.

Room was clean and had excellent amenities. Large comfy bed and a great breakfast.
Lovely accommodation in great location for exploring the New Forest. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a good selection of cooked food, although limited cold choices.
Pub garden is large with various areas for sitting out. This was just as well as the Filly Inn does not have air conditioning which meant that our bedroom was far too hot to spend any time in. Shame as it was a lovely room with great shower room.
The staff did provide us with a fan but it was not up to the job of cooling the room. We tried to sleep with the window open but the road is very close and noisy. Ear plugs were supplied but I find these uncomfortable to wear, especially in such heat.
The rating would have been 5 star but not getting any sleep through out our stay meant we had to mark it down.
Lovely stay in a charming part of the new forest. The owner was wonderful and the breakfast we were served was so nice and made it feel very worth it to have stayed.
Our stay at the Filly was excellent. The room was clean the bed was huge and very comfy and the breakfast was delicious.Well worth the stay snd would definitely go again
A lovely room and setting, friendly staff and good food. The room was well equipped with lots of thoughtful touches. Some wear and tear in places, cracked plaster and peeling and paint in the bathroom and a couple of areas where it wasn’t quite as clean as it might have been, e.g random hair on the overhead shower head
Lovely stay with our toddler - great service from the staff, room nice and downstairs great for a bite to eat. Nice breakfast

Beautiful old road side inn with rooms.
Staff very helpful and friendly.
Rooms well appointed and breakfast delicious.
WiFi didn’t work which given the expensive price point was disappointing.
One of the most comfortable, clean and pleasant hotels we have stayed in for a very long time.
Holly and Dave must be praised for running such a splendid hotel in a lovely area. Food was great.
Will be staying again.
We had a fabulous stay. The room was lovely, clean, comfortable bed, fabulous food. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend staying hr.

Nice place. Food really good and great menu. Only negative, the cess pit needed emptying which is adjoining the terrace and, as it was a hot hot day, the aroma wafted across the terrace which did add a bit of a downer on the enjoyment of the terrace.
Great food and friendly staff. The room was cosy, comfortable and clean. However in mid January we were expecting the log fire to be on to keep us warm but it wasn’t which meant the bar and restaurant were pretty chilly!
We chose the Filly Inn after reading through previous reviews, it did not disappoint! Great service, great food, great drinks, great room. We stayed for one night the rooms come with everything you could need and more! The menu has such a great selection, so good it makes it hard to decide and makes you want to stay longer! The breakfast was top class as well! Such friendly staff too made it a perfect stay and would 100% go back
