“Lovely country pub,spacious clean room with lovely big bathroom,really comfortable bed.Had a lovely evening meal, the waitress was really helpful and got our order in quickly after giving us the heads up that there were a lot of large parties in that evening and ordering promptly would be beneficial,food was amazing and good value. Breakfast the next morning was a wide choice and the hosts at the property were brilliant.Would definitely stay again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others.”

If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . “This hotel has character although it could do with some tlc in places. They have a kids playground which my 6yr old loved. Also the staff are wonderful as I noted when my daughter fell out of bed one night during our stay and the staff were only interested in my daughters well being rather than the decorative candle holder that broke as she tumbled to the floor.
