For the price point it is a good value stay. Room was basic, but bed was comfy and bedding clean. Slightly wiffy smell from the sink, shared bathroom shower needs a scientific degree to get the temperature at Goldilocks level because a micro amount of movement on the control meant Artic cold or Molten Lava hot! Breakfast was OK, but running out of sausages is a basic stock issue! All staff were very polite, and having the 24 hr reception meant my key was safe. I would stay again. 👍

Staff were very friendly and it was well located and had parking (£12 extra). But the decor and quality of the room was pretty awful. The whole place needed a complete update. Taps in the bathroom were broken, grab rail in shower was rusty, shower head dirty and needed replacing, carpet threadbare, awful throws on the bed which were old and stained. Really the whole place needed improvements. Shame because the staff were lovely

The staff were really helpful and breakfast was good. The hotel overall is tired and old fashioned. I stayed in 3 different rooms (another story) and all had different issues with them. There certainly weren't any tablecloths on the breakfast tables like the picture at the start of this survey.

Helpful staff, clean and affordable, in particular since it included full English breakfast for two. Should be quie good for young people. Mais inconvence, in particular for the not so young is that there are no elevator and the second floor is quite a climb. Room also needed some updates to provide modern USB ports.

Great location to explore central Bristol especially if seeing anyone at the university. Limited parking available but good value in comparison to the nearby multi storey. Yes it’s a tired old property. But it is what it is. Clean sheets and towels. Hot water etc. a bit dated and needing an upgrade but so are many places. Good selection of tea and fresh ground coffee in your room. Fans for then it’s hot. Recommended but don’t expect a 4 star hotel. It’s a great little 3 star and perfectly adequate and well located with friendly and helpful staff.

The reception staff and breakfast staff were excellent. Courteous and helpful and really friendly. Location of the hotel is good for walking down to the harbour and the city centre. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Hotel was quiet and we had a good night’s sleep.
