Great staff, food was good and the room was well appointed. Unfortunately on an extremely hot evening the lack of air conditioning (reception provided a fan but it couldn’t cope) the room was uncomfortable to sleep in.

It was a bit confusing as to what you had to do at breakfast as I wasn't greeted by anybody and a jug with a label next to it saying hot water actually contained milk but when I did manage to speak to someone, the breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. The property is a bit of a rabbit warren and some clearer signage with regards to where rooms are, where reception is etc. would have gone down well. The property felt a bit dated but everything was generally clean and tidy and I had a pretty good nights sleep so will definitely consider staying again.
