“4.5 stars my A$$. This hotel is a joke. Hasn’t been refurbished (at least) in a decade. Carpet floor is totally damaged with bits hanging randomly here and there. Furniture chipped everywhere. The breakfast was miserable in look & feel. Not even comparable to a basic Travelodge.”

“Helpful staff & smooth check in. We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on that. The pub itself was good for food competitively priced, which can be ordered thru the app (along with drinks) The drinks we had an issue with - there were drinks on the app that weren’t available at the bar, the glasses had lipstick marks on them so washing is an issue & we were served a Fentiman’s Dandelion & Burdock drink 6 months out of date so stock rotation is a problem here. “A warm welcome and comfortable, clean, spacious room. The staff couldn't be more helpful and even though the kitchen was closed because I arrived late they were good enough to offer a plate and cutlery so I could grab a Chinese from the takeaway opposite. Honestly I couldn't have asked for anything better even at twice the price.”

“The staff were very welcoming, helpful and interacted with customers warmly, we were watching while having a drink and meal in the bar as well as our own experience. The room looked liked it had been redecorated fairly recently and was clean. Two tower fans were provided which helped as the sun shone into our room in the day.
