The room having a minifridge was helpful. The hotel is on the highstreet and in a great location. Priced very reasonably. It is very much a no thrills hotel. The GB news playing in the lobby constantly was a real choice. Maybe play something more reasonable or just the music channel. If you love fake news, then you are in good hands. On the whole, Would stay again! Free Palestine!

The staff were brilliant and extra helpful. My room had a solid full length concrete (possibly load -bearing) pillar right in the middle of the room between the bed and the table. Very very strange. The bed was less than comfortable as if coils were sticking into my back. If my stay had been longer than one night; I would have changed the room. Although the staff made it a pleasant stay, I won't go back.

Absolutely the best hotel we could have gone to. A short walk away from the beach. Right on tye High Street with all tye shops nearby. All the best restaurants at your doorstep. Delicious breakfast with so much choice thats included. 24hrs reception, with staff that are friendly, helpful and always welcoming and local experts that can recommend the best of everything. They even offered to hold our luggage after check out because our train was 5 hrs away from departure. We fell in love with Brighton and we'll definitely go back yearly and we'll for sure never stay anywhere else other than The Mitre Hotel. Thank you to all the great staff who contributed to our stay being memorable

The hotel staff were amazing. We were there for the marathon and they allowed us to leave our luggage and then let us return later for a shower. It was an unexpected treat which we were so grateful for as it allowed us to freshen up and not have to drive home sweaty. Thank you
