Lovely hotel. Very welcoming to dog guests as well as their humans. Room and property very nice and spotless. Loved the free shuttle to town where pups can ride too. The only suggestion would be to create a convenient designated area where pups can take care of business.

We had a great stay at Alpenrock Hotel. Everything was clean, modern, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the amenities were excellent, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to Main Street. We'd definitely stay here again!

This was a conference setting. Just terrific in every way. Staff went over well over my expectations to make sure I had a great experience. It was late summer, so not crowded. I recommend walking down to a cafe in town for breakfast if you have the opportunity. Just a short 15 minute walk to downtown. I walked out of the hotel and within a few minutes was on my way up the mountain for a 5 mile hike to the top of the ski area. Incredible. Staff were very helpful giving me tips for getting around town. And they have a deal with a local e-bike rental outfit. I did not have time to take advantage of that, but with the free bus service in town and to Frisco, you don't have to feel limited to the property at all.

When we first checked in our room was overlooking the AC unit with someone on the roof. I called down to see if there was a possibility of a room change since we were there for 5 nights. Claire promptly got us into a different room which we very much appreciated. Rick the bartender at The Carter was awesome! Everyone was so nice and accommodating. The free shuttle was also an added bonus.
