We had a wonderful stay. The amenities were excellent and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The only issue for us was the washroom. It was very clean, but needed some renovations.

I've been staying at this property for the last 5 years. It's a great deal for the amenities that it has. The room I stayed in this time had some nice upgrades. New flooring and bathroom fixtures. The pool and hot tub were nice and clean. It's an older building that needs some touch ups but overall a good experience with helpful staff support.

The room was convenient and the staff were great. The room was clean but a few stains and it looked tired. The shower was fantastic though and the breakfast was a nice touch for those that could eat it and for those that couldn’t the supermarket was just round the corner. Nice, quiet neighbourhood for an evening stroll.

The Colonial was a nice, clean, affordable hotel for an overnight. The pool and hot tub were not operational (but look very nice. I had a poolside room). Staff were helpful, check in and out was quick. Breakfast was standard (waffle machine, some hot sausages, and a tub of eggs), but again this is simple lodgings. Best was the location, across from great eateries and pubs. Would definitely stay again when in Brandon.

This review is a mix of good and bad. The bed was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean but worn, burn marks on the toilet seat. A clean room overall, except the carpet which was disgusting. Don't go barefoot! the hot tub and pool were nice. Breakfast was minimal. The boiled eggs were rubber but the sausage was really quite good. All in all, you get what you pay for. Fine for a quick overnight stay at a low price.

The hotel was very clean & no smell considering the age of the hotel. I wasn't a fan of the carpet, it was very spongy. The air conditioner worked but not very well. Not sure if it was just too small for the room or too low. It cooled the floor but that was it. Went to the front desk & asked for a fan, it helped. The continental breakfast was very good. The price was the best part.

Decent place for the price. Older hotel that could use some renovations, but staff are friendly and the location is convenient. Hot tub was not hot enough, but pool area was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was ok but the hot plate was not great. Overall would recommend for short stays or budget friendly vacations. It is pet friendly!
