Room was fantastic, towels, dishes, bedding very clean. Single king bed room was a little tight but I like the use of space. Property was easy to get to and find, check in/out procedure with door codes was perfect for me because I work early and long hours so not having to go to front desk was very clutch. Overall I had a great stay. Bathroom is clean and has good hot water, kitchenette in the room and the top freezer box in fridge was very helpful

At first we were a little taken aback that there was no front desk clerk. But the owners texted us our individual door code which was also the same as our room code. They seemed to be very responsive as they replied to my “thank you”. That gave me some assurance that we could get a hold of someone, if needed. The room was updated and clean. Nice large screen tv, a good fridge, and comfy beds and pillows. Maybe I felt the carpet could’ve used replacing but everything was in overall excellent condition. We did not use the pool facilities or breakfast as we were visiting family in the area. It’s just a short drive to the grocery, walkable during the day. And another short drive to the downtown Nisswa area. Everything looked clean and bright! I’ll post some pics I took—forgot to take one of the room though! It was a pleasant stay & was within our budget. Would return again!

The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival and we were able to check in half an our early! The mounted coatrack was partially off the wall. The mattress was worn out. The door to the room didn't close all the way automatically. We had to be sure to pull it closed. The valance over the window was slightly broken and there was paint on the drapes. The main part of the room was updated but the bathroom fixtures were old and outdated and the bathroom was very small! There is a nice kitchenette area with fridge and cooktop that we did not use. This place is fine for one or two adults if all you're looking for is a place to sleep and maybe make a small breakfast. The price was fair!

The towels were small and would not wrap around a lg adult. They were also thin. The pool towels (striped ones) were really soft but repelled water so not helpful as a towel. The shampoo, body wash and conditioner were watered down and took a ton to wash my long hair and never lathered. The back door did not stay shut unless deadbolt was engaged. Not terrible but for the money, would expect much higher quality than what was delivered.

Fantastic stay at Nisswa Hotel & Suites. The self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and the newly renovated pool area is a standout — tropical feel, clean, and very relaxing with the sauna and hot tub. The in-room kitchenette was incredibly useful and well stocked for basic cooking, and having Starbucks coffee in the room really elevated the experience. Top it off with an unbeatable location near downtown Nisswa and the lakes — this place checks all the boxes.

Since arriving at this location, I was throughly impressed. Having visited this place years ago, this place really got a face lift! I would recommend this place to anyone! This hotel was a godsend for us when Breezy Point failed to provide us with the accessible unit we reserved for the week. The price was very reasonable, and it had a kitchen so we could use the food we had brought. We were able to book the hotel and check in late at night very smoothly as it has self check-in with door key codes that are very convenient and delivered promptly. I ended up interacting with staff on site several times during our 4 day stay and they were very concerned that we have a great time there and get what we needed. There is a nice, if somewhat small pool, a whirlpool spa, and a sauna available that I used daily. This is a quiet hotel, and there was only ever one other person at a time that I ever ran into while using the facilities. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that they were actively working on improving the property (you might read about issues in other reviews). I got the impression that it is under new management now, and they are really doing a great job dealing with an older hotel. The location is very convenient, walking distance to grocery, liquor, gas station, Subway, and several other places. It is on a main road, but separated from that road by a small, little traveled side road that I felt very safe and comfortable walking on. I gave it 4 stars, but it is a good 4 stars, and we would return with no concerns.

Very clean, looked new. Checking in was frustrating, I didn’t get the email with code and room number so had to call to get all that, the lady was very patient and nice. After we got it figured out it was fine but very strange with no management on the property. I had to call about the WiFi password. But it did work. The shower was very hard to adjust the temp. Only two K-cups, we were there for 3 days. The next day I was able to ask a room cleaner for some more coffee and towels, towels were VERY thin. Over all it was good just a few inconveniences.
