The Bolder Mountain Guest Ranch is a very nice unique rustic lodge. Situated in a beautiful pion pine forest. Jared was a special manager who went out of his way to make you feel comfortable and at home. His extensive knowledge of the local area was a great addition to our stay. I will definitely be back. We enjoyed our stay! Our yurt was lovely, the bathroom was nice, the snacks provided in the Great Room were just right…the only improvement would be some property trail marker maintenance. We explored a little bit & many of the signs had fallen or were twisted.

The location was fantastic at the head of a lovely valley. But at sunset the staff started noisy yard cleaning that was disruptive until we asked them to please stop. There were no glasses in the room, no ice available to cool down drinks, restaurant closed (so no breakfast options) except an apple, breakfast bar and tea/coffee. The pillows and beds were uncomfortable. I would have been fine with this level of hospitality if the prices were lower, but the value didn't seem to be there.

We really enjoyed our stay here as we explored the property. The guest ranch and our bedroom were nicely decorated in a western style. The Great Room had wonderful views and a friendly atmosphere; great for quiet moments or chatting with other guests. The artwork was really creative and eclectic. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful. Hope to visit again.

The place was perfect for us, we were on Yurt 1. Nice decoration, basic amenities, our own heated bathroom, enough space for the dogs in the room, good walking areas for dogs, staff kept active communication. We had a very nice time.

Rustic charm meets modern art

Nestled in quiet little valley with a stream, large, clean, rustic cabin with a great room and on-site restaurant, variety of interesting metal artworks both inside and out on the grounds, including a xylophone sound garden, close to Boulder and Upper and Lower Creek Calf Falls just a few minutes down the old Hells Backbone road. Very friendly staff.

If you dream of staying in a log cabin guest ranch, this is the real deal. Its a beautiful log cabin , set in the mountains of Utah. I really enjoyed the hotel and the staff were awesome! It is very remote, but for me, it added to the appeal. There is a restaurant on site and we had a nice meal there. The server was extremely nice.
