The Elliot Hotel is a wonderful historic boutique hotel with nice size rooms and suite option (great for families). The location is convenient and the staff are lovely! It does not have a traditional bar or restaurant. Uni is an amazing Asian restaurant (make a reservation it is very popular) but closes early and does not serve lunch.

Classic medium-sized hotel from the 1920s. Nice, slightly small rooms (but they upgraded me to a suite!!), very comfortable. Very attentive staff. Excellent location in beautiful Back Bay.

The proximity was perfect for shopping one way and the baseball game the other! Close to the duck tours and the city sky high view! Highly recommend all of these ! Beautiful place and excellent service and quality place! Don’t drive rive just walk about! Safe and so beautiful!

There isn’t an employee of this hotel that does not greet you when you are walking past them. That’s a total class act in my opinion. I also found the location to be ideal, just off of Newbury Street where all the action happens. We got upgraded to a suite, and that was a pleasant surprise… thanks to everyone for making us feel at home.

The shining star of The Eliot is the staff; they were attentive, kind and authentically present and helpful. In letting them know we were celebrating a milestone anniversary, they upgraded our standard room to suite; the suite was beautifully and elegantly designed, bringing with it a classic old world charm. The location itself has a wonderful restaurant if you’re looking to stay close and otherwise, is a few minute walk from the well renowned Newbury Street with countless shops and eateries. We also enjoyed a show at the Citizens Opera House which was a close drive away. Overall, the Eliot is a great stay in a prime location to enjoy all that Boston has to offer, is well maintained, and housed with a staff who truly want to provide you with a special experience.

Honestly, we have stayed at the Eliot Hotel many times and love the staff there and the proximity to places we need to go. Overall, the air-conditioning unit didn’t seem to work well and the room was very damp. I did let staff know about this as we were leaving and they said they would have maintenance fix it. We also had four people in a room with a pullout couch and one bed and when we got there, the pullout couch did not have sheets or blankets on it. Staff was friendly and immediately responded to our room with sheets, etc. Not their best showing. I also really miss the old Bellman. He was very friendly.

Really beautiful boutique hotel located with easy access to Newberry and the Commons, the Charles, and BU. Great (expensive) restaurant and bar. Staff was super attentive and responsive. Old google searches indicated they used to have complimentary passes to the neighboring gym. That was a bummer, and they should reinstitute that benefit . The room prices justify that perk for a property that doesn't have room for a gym.

Amazing location. One block to the Green line Hynes Convention Center stop and Newbury Street. We booked a one bedroom and it had a good amount of space. The only draw back is you could only access the bathroom through the bedroom, so kids had to walk through our room to access. Otherwise nice layout.
