Lovely room, but the elevator was broken all through my stay so having to drag luggage up to the 4th floor was kind of a pain. But the staff were wonderful, the space well maintained.

Staff friendly, clean hostel with massive kitchen for cooking. No gym but plenty of areas around to run (Boston Common, Freedom Trail). Highly recommend this place - great spot in Chinatown. Use 40 Beach St parking garage and validate at front desk for cheaper rate.

The dorm and shared bathroom are clean. The only con is, many ambulances passing by with siren on since the hostel is near by a medical center, might not ideal hostel for light sleepers. The location is walkable to all the attractions, and public transportation. I will come back

I was pleasantly surprised. The whole facility was amazing. I definitely will be going back. I stayed in an awful room with six beds. I had no problems with it. I woke up about 8:30 in the morning to clean bathrooms. Had a great day. Got back around 11pm everyone was quiet. Some people were eating the kitchen, but everyone kept themselves you wanted to socialize you could if you want stay alone you could too . Lots of free excursions as well I went during fourth of July fantastic

Maybe its bad timing the elevator wasnt working when i went… good thing im only on the 3rd floor. I also heard some ac was not working… my ac was working too well cuz it’s too cold that I cant sleep. I also cant control the ac. Other than that staff were friendly and explains well… room was clean, im in a private room. I also dont like how the light is motion sensitive cuz I constantly need to wave for it to light up again.

I'm from New Orleans I love the city of Boston Every time I visit it's always Hi Boston hostel. Perfect location to get around. Very friendly staff very clean. You can buy your food cook and store also. I would recommend. See you in a few months.

I’ve never stayed at a hostel, and was uncertain about what the experience would be like. I was so pleased. I could only describe the accommodations as extraordinarily thoughtful. The bathrooms were spacious, private, secure, and clean. The shower water pressure was great and the water was very hot the entire time. They had everything that I accidentally left at home at a great price. I know that this is not controllable, but I had great roommates. The only complaint is that there were no hand towels and the elevators were down the majority of my stay. I would recommend bringing a hand towel. The front desk keeps clean bath towels and you can always go and get a fresh one. The bathroom was stocked with a stack of clean bath baths that never ran out. Really a 10/10 experience considering that I am fit and able bodied.

Staff are super helpful. Especially Jonathan. If only the guests sharing the room had consideration for people sleeping and not be very loud every morning at 5am, then it would be brilliant. The accommodation is excellent for solo travellers. My 5th time staying & certainly not my last.
