Nice old building with historic eccentricity and pretty, well-maintained rooms. Staff was very nice and helpful. Very convenient to T and walking. However, front rooms are noisy due to T and street noise.

Building & room we're fine. Very nice townhouses. We bought parking. Expensive, but if driving well worth it. Be sure to ask about ALL their quirks concerning parking your vehicle there before arriving!!!! AC was a blessing & quiet.

It’s a shame this place isn’t very clean. It’s in a great location and the staff is very nice and helpful. We were in room 6. I don’t know about the other rooms but our bathroom had actual grime on the faucet and dirt in the corners of the floor. The bathroom rug was stained and soiled. The beds were comfortable but made very professionally.

We loved the location, easy to catch the metro, or walk to the bus station either to downtown or harvard, 4 stars is because, yes if you are a light sleeper do not get a room facing beacon street, you will know the time table of the metro and the people talking, location is great, staff was awesome, helpful, friendly you really will feel like home, they have a quick breakfast, the sad part they do not have a seating area, unless weather is nice and you can get the benches outside. I Hope next time i can get a better room, bathroom was really clean. our closet was not looking quite clean, but is an old building, with really nice wood trim, and details and that antique feeling, they don't have elevator, if you are not for climbing stair, better let the hotel knows to check for downstair room.

This renovated home was absolutely charming! The train being right out front was a blessing for getting around town. Great location! The street we were on was beautiful. Entering our room was like stepping into an elegant past with the joy of modern air conditioning. Even climbing the stairs added to the charm. The bathroom was dated and disappointing, but not enough to keep us away in the future.

What a cool and unique place to stay!! Stayed overnight while attending a concert @ MGM Fenway. Great location, lots of eateries, shopping and coffee nearby. Staff is so friendly and helpful with check in, parking and check out. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful old house that has been converted to an inn. Because of this the design of the building is not disability friendly! Not an issue for myself, but definitely of note for anyone wondering. The layout of the bathroom is definitely strange (there is a fairly high step once you open the bathroom door that my friend and I were worried about tripping over during the night). Amazing location! 15 minute walk to Trader Joe’s, a Japanese grocery store, shops and restaurants. 5 minute walk to green line stops. There is a beautiful park with a small nature preserve close by that I found on our last day and that was a lovely discovery :) All in all we had a great stay and would definitely stay again! Thank you!

Close to a 'T' stop. Bed was comfortable and room large. Bathroom a bit tiny but it is an old brownstone. The location is it's primary draw. There are restaurants and a convenience store a block away across the street. Everyone was pleasant. It's a solid choice when in Boston.

We spent four nights at Beacon Inn 1087 and loved the location. The convenience to the T station, several excellent restaurants, and a nice walk to/from Fenway Park made it a perfect choice. Our only issue was that the shower/tub valve and faucet needs to be replaced (it would shoot water onto the floor), and we did mention that to management as we were leaving. I would have liked to have an in-room coffeemaker (and would probably bring my own if we come back) as we were on the fourth floor, and it was a hike back up to the room from the first floor with coffee. They did have very good muffins, however! The list of local restaurants was very helpful, and we tried three of the places on the list. All of them were terrific.
