The room was clean. I love the coffee and tea set up. They Included snacks such as banana bread. The community room has board games, chess and darts. Breakfast was good- had various breads, bagels, veggies, yogurt, and cereal. Staff was very friendly.

Absolutely surprised by this place! The location was extraordinary, surrounded by breathtaking Icelandic scenery. The outdoor hot pool was a perfect way to relax while enjoying the incredible views around us. The service was exceptional, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive complimentary breakfast — such a wonderful gesture, especially on our first trip to Iceland. Overall, a beautiful and memorable stay. Highly recommended, and we would definitely love to come back! 🇮🇸❤️

The most horrible experience I have ever had at any hotel, ever. Hotel is next to a horse ranch, so the entire property smells strongly of manure. There were also abundant biting flies in the room for which the staff had no solutions, not even a simple flyswatter. I also repeatedly got locked out my room due to the password-operated lock malfunctioning, which played loud alarms whenever I tried to get in my own room, maybe because the hotel wifi doesn’t work. The rooms are unbelievably and unbearably hot, reaching almost 80 F To top it off, the hotel restaurant gave me food poisoning. Never stay here, ever.

Did not receive the check in code and property manager was reluctant to assist. Not all rooms have a Mountain View (mine looked at another building). The room is small, as in the distance between the bed and one wall was about the side of a paperback book (~8 inches), another wall about 2.5 feet, and between the bed and third wall/bathroom about 3 feet. There is no closet, no place to put a suitcase. It's clean and functional.

Nous avons passé une nuit dans cet hôtel. L'hébergement était très sale (escalier plein de poussières et mitons (alors que tout le monde enlève ses chaussures à l'entrée), grille d'aération plein de poussière, sol de la chambre sale, moquette des parties commune pas propre du tout). La chambre (chambre double small) était moderne mais toute petite, il a été impossible d'ouvrir nos valises sans devoir les poser sur le lit... Le lit était petit (140 cm ?) et contre le mur sur un côté donc nous étions vraiment à l'étroit. Il était cependant confortable. L'isolation n'était pas terrible et une alarme a bipé une bonne partie de la matinée (dès 05h du matin), avant que quelqu'un du personnel puisse la stopper, vers 07h30. La douche était bouchée et l'eau ne s'écoulait plus, nous avons du attendre pas mal de temps entre nos 2 douches pour que l'eau s'écoule et pour ne pas inonder la salle de bain. L'endroit est isolé, sans commerces aux alentours, prévoyez de quoi manger si vous ne souhaitez pas manger à l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était correct. Il y avait, dans une salle commune, du thé et du café disponible, ainsi que quelques gâteaux, ce qui a été appréciable. Je ne reprendrais pas cet hôtel si je reviens dans ce secteur.

Das Hotel liegt sehr abgelegen und man fühlt sich eher wie in einem Hostel. Zu Beginn wird man gebeten Schuhe auszuziehen. Es wird ein gemeinschaftliches Beisammen sein gelebt. großräumige Wohn-/Essbereich ist im Erdgeschoss, nett und hell gestaltet. Man kann sich jederzeit Kaffee oder Tee nehmen, es standen sogar ein paar Kekse dabei. Frühstück wird schön hergerichtet und schmeckt lecker, es gibt Brötchen, Bagels, Ei, Gemüse, Joghurt, Marmelade, Aufstrich, Wurst und Käse. Das Personal oder besser gesagt die besitzende Familie war sehr nett. Der Zugangscode wird per Nachricht mit der Zimmernummer übermittelt. Als wir am Hotel angekommen sind, gab es schon die ersten Probleme. Der Code ging nicht. Zum Glück waren die Besitzer da und konnten uns hereinlassen und haben den Code direkt geändert. Wir hatten ein Comfort Doppelzimmer mit 20 Quadratmeter und Doppelbett gebucht, haben jedoch nur ein 12 Quadratmeter Zimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten bekommen. Das lag im ersten Stock ohne Aufzug direkt am Treppenaufgang, war also dementsprechend alles ziemlich laut. Man hatte den Eindruck, den Schleudergang der Waschmaschine zu hören und es gab ein ständiges Knacken in den Leitungen. (Vllt wurden deshalb Ohrstöpsel in den Zimmern bereitgelegt…) Das Wasser hat sehr stark nach Schwefel (bzw. Eierpups) gerochen - normal in dieser Gegend, jedoch extremer als man es gewohnt ist.
