The room is spacious and clean, and the bed is really comfortable. It also has a refrigerator. However, the shower area has a bit of an unusual design. Since the drain is slightly higher than the surrounding floor, water tends to run out of the shower and spread across the bathroom floor.

We had a very pleasant stay at Bifrost Hotel. The room was clean and spacious, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent—definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, a great experience!

Lovely hotel

We stayed for one night and the room was lovely. Nice staff at the front desk and restaurant. Room was clean and spacious, with a very cool poured concrete shower. Breakfast was included and was plentiful with lots of vegetarian options.

PHENOMENAL. My fiancé and I spent a magical night in this gorgeous hotel. We didn’t make use of the amenities despite them being a major selling point… we were too comfy and exhausted from a long day exploring and hiking. We will be very happy to come back in the future, however. The staff are beyond wonderful. Thank you!

Hotel Bifrost staff was friendly and engaged, their dining and lobby area was clean and comfortable to relax in. The rooms were clean if a little dated, but a large amount of space to unpack if you were staying longer. Very large area for shower which was a pleasant surprise. We were overlooking some nearby homes and there was some traffic noise, but nothing distracting. Did not try the breakfast but looked appetizing.

Biggest room we stayed at in Iceland!! Lots of shelves ,drawers and closet space. We spent 15 nights at 15 hotels ,so we are experts in hotels. Conveiently located near many sights. The hotel food for dinner we thought was a bit expensive. Our waiter from Ukraine spoiled the hotel feeling for us with his attitude. Hopefully having a bad day.

The hotel staff went out of their way to help us. The WiFi was not working in our room. Turns out, it only works if you are near the entrance to the room. But they did restart the router for us. Dining at the on site restaurant was excellent. Not too many options on the menu, but what we had was an excellent meal!

The hotel was nice and modern. Good place to stay for a night. Big dining room. Moderate service by staff. Fairly expensive dining options being the only restaurant nearby. I could see the staff was struggling to keep morning breakfast stocked as there was a huge group staying from a tour.

We stayed here for 1 night and it worked out very well for where we were in our journey. Room was quiet, spacious and had the basics of what you'd expect in a hotel room. Breakfast was decent as well. Parking was very easy as it was right in front of the property. Staff was always kind and courteous to us and they kindly gave us an upgrade to a higher floor.

A quiet place with large room in a forested setting. Breakfast includes hot items, cereal, bread and pastry. Grábrók crater and Glanni Waterfall are interesting attractions near by.
