This place is extremely special & it delivers! The hotel has its own Private Beach, access in the back with a dedicated lifeguard! I felt very special! Amazing Italian Riviera sea views with balcony for the fraction of what it will cost in Cannes & you really can’t get this level of intimacy, quiet serenity & the feeling you got the beach to yourself than here. For a small Italian town, the hotel is fully staffed from checkin to restaurant/dining. They really care about cleanliness and housekeeping Complimentary Buffet breakfast is marvelous: I think I ended up staying for 4 nights (was supposed to be 1 night). Much more proper beach experience than San Remo with tons of seaside restaurants footsteps away on the boardwalk! Excellent stay!

I had a terrible experience in this hotel. The hotel itself is in a great location and it’s ok. The room was very nice it was an ocean front room. However the manager of the hotel was a very unpleasant and unaccommodating manager I have ever encountered . On my departure day I could not find my passport which was in the safe box the whole time I was there. I called the receptionist to let them know why our departure from the room was being delayed and all I got was pressure to leave the room asap. There was no concern for my predicament nor a hint of responsibility for this matter. I finally said that I wouldn’t leave the hotel until my passport was found. I went to the police station and told them the situation and they suggested that I give the hotel staff a few more hours to find the passport which I did. I got back to the hotel after 3 hours and still no sign of the passport by the way 2 very nice young ladies were there and were completely unaware of this situation which revealed how unimportant this situation was to them. I started filling out the forms to get a temporary passport and arranging tickets to Milan where the US consulate is located. Then that manager shows up with my passport. They said it was in the safety box which is very strange because I looked in there 3 times and patted all the its surface. It seems to me they were up to something and that the police was probably familiar with this type of occurrence when they asked me to wait.

I stayed there for two nights. I am a regular visitor at Bordighera. There are two nice hotels and Parigi is one of them. It is a typical Italian 4 star hotel. You get access to the beach. There are many restaurants around.

The hotel made an excellent first impression. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and very helpful, especially with arranging parking for our car. Everyone at the front desk was smiling and genuinely pleasant to deal with. The room was clean, and the sea view was beautiful and completely unobstructed. Unfortunately, the experience deteriorated significantly afterwards. The room temperature was around 30°C, essentially the same as outside. When we raised the issue, a receptionist informed us that Italian law prohibited the use of air conditioning, which was simply not true. As the room was too hot to stay in comfortably, we decided to move to another hotel and willingly paid for our reservation despite leaving early. What was most disappointing was that the same friendly and welcoming attitude we experienced upon arrival suddenly changed. The interaction became defensive and even somewhat aggressive once we informed the hotel of our decision. This was unnecessary and left a very negative final impression. A real shame, because with honest communication and a professional response, this could have been a much more positive review.

It is always disappointing when you go to a hotel that promotes itself as a 4-star hotel and, at best, it is only a 3 star hotel. Hotel Parifi & Spa is in a good position but the rooms not facing the beachfront are right on the road and opposite two railway tracks which are extremely noisy. Our room No406 was also right next to the elevator and that further added to the noise. The self serve buffet breakfast is limited and uninspiring - too many bread and pastries, with limited fruits and no variety. No room service menu or hotel directory in the room. No English speaking channels on the TV including news services. The lobby, restaurant area and outside terrace area look tired. There are also major beachfront works being undertaken which potential guests, as we were, were not advised of. Having worked in 5 star hotels and taught hospitality management for many years, this was a really disappointing experience. My advise to the hotel - focus on becoming the best 3 star hotel you can, then you won’t let future guests down. If you are thinking of staying book only beachside and don’t expect four star service or amenities.

I have visited Bordighera many times, but this was my first stay at this hotel—and it will be my last. The customer service was extremely disappointing. Do not rely on messages sent through Expedia. I contacted the hotel, Expedia called on my behalf, and I showed the front desk my message regarding the sea-view room I had booked. Despite this, the woman checking me in became confrontational, raised her voice, and accused me of lying when I explained that I had tried to confirm the room in advance. Completely inappropriate treatment of a guest. The breakfast was also disappointing, and the tiny refrigerator made it difficult to store food we purchased ourselves. I also became ill during the stay and had to cancel a massage to see a doctor. I called as soon as the spa opened, explained that I was sick and needed to cancel, and was simply told “okay.” No one mentioned that I would still be charged. At checkout, I discovered a €90 charge. Had I been told, I would have rescheduled the massage for later in the week when I felt better. The €90 itself is not the main issue—it is the poor communication and overall lack of hospitality. I love Bordighera and will continue returning, but after this experience, I will stay elsewhere.
