The staff were nice and the hotel itself is nice. However, upon arrival, their system was down, which resulted in a 3 hour delay for checking in. Then, their system AC did not properly work. My room was overheated, and they did not have any fans on property. On my last night, their system AC (and all electricity) were out for 30-40 minutes…all during a heatwave. It made for miserable evenings and attempts at sleeping.

Several members of our wedding party stayed here on each side of the wedding week. Both times we stayed the staff was truly amazing. From the welcome "tea" to storage of luggage and serving cold beers at the bar they were great! Safe new hip area with lots of food options. Would stay here again.

Excellent stay at the Moxy Bordeaux. The design of the room makes the best use of the space. Everything was clean and well organized. The bed was comfortable. The lounge downstairs is a pleasant space to relax before or after activities. The staff is young, dynamic and very friendly.

Asked for quiet room. Instead got room at back facing climbing wall drilling. Staff did nothing about it. Next day works above us with cables dropping down that hit our windows and also affected our sleep. Breakfast very average and cold even at 7.30am. Market around the corner is miles better and cheaper for food. No kettle and cost of tea 4.50 euros each. No fridge. Staff hadn’t a clue how to make a gin and tonic. Staff never confirmed that they would provide a cot for our baby. Basic hotel with limited amenities. Unresponsive management and nothing to make it right except a cold average breakfast. Location is great but there are other hotels around that I would stay in next time instead. Look elsewhere if you want peace and decent breakfast.
