The staff were helpful and friendly. However, on our first night, the room had a musty odor and damp carpet (throughout the room). We were able to move to another room on our second night but this second room also had a musty odor and damp carpet throughout the room. We associated this problem with the air conditioning units which cooled the rooms but did not remove the humid air. We will not stay in this hotel again!

The desk clerk named “Mimi” was EXTREMELY HELPFUL to us when we discovered that our reservation had not been effective. She worked with us to get the same type of room that we thought we had reserved. Mimi should be recognized by her boss - she is a GREAT representative of what an employee SHOULD BE!!!

The lady at the check in, checkout counter was great. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was clean and comfortable. The room in general was clean. The A/C cooled but made noises that indicated to me that it was in need of some serious TLC. The small in-room refrigerator's freezer section was caked in frost and as soon as I put 2 mostly frozen bottles of water in the freezer it started to defrost. I had to place a towel at the bottom of the refrigerator so that the carpet didn't get completely soaked. The next morning the bottles were completely thawed, the other things I put in the refrigerator were cool because of the cold stuff I had put in it, and the towel was completely soaked. It was more of a cooler than a refrigerator. The TV remote had dead batteries, and my daughter had to get new ones at the desk. When she tried to watch TV, the volume did not work on the TV. The bed side lamp worked, but the fixture flopped around because it was broken lose from the base. For myself as a 66-year-old man that is not overly picky it was acceptable, but with my daughter being there and it costing $234.19 I'm not impressed.
