An overall nice experience. Super comfortable bed and the shower was great. Staff was friendly - especially the young man at valet. Would highly recommend this hotel. Not much else to say except nice hotel.

Gorgeous hotel with the most attentive and caring staff. We were upgraded to the room with the tub—which I highly recommend. Brunch at their restaurant was also fantastic. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Boise.

My stay at the The Avery was very peaceful and accommodating. From check-in with the front desk staff to the friendly staff at the bar, everyone that I had interactions with was very cordial and friendly. The hotel is in a good location with easy walkable access around downtown. The hotel is older and the room was just OK. The parking situation isn't good unless you pay the 30$ per night for valet. Having stayed at other hotels in the area, this hotel would never be my top choice.

The Avery is conveniently located near many restaurants. The staff were amazing - particularly Brighton (hope I have the name right!). We had dinner on the restaurant and it was excellent too. Highly recommend!

The Avery was such a great find! Walking distance to most everything downtown Boise. The room was beautiful and had added little touches to make it a unique experience. The hotel had a lovely vintage feel. The staff was very professional and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.

In comparison to my last review, this hotel was the exact opposite. This was a wonderful experience. Lovely staff. Great restaurant and pub. Comfortable, secure, and lovely for a building that has 100 years of history and memories. I will definitely return and it comes with a very HIGH recommendation.

This chic little hotel tucked in the heart of downtown is a must stay. The rooms are elegantly decorated and the hotel itself brings that nostalgic historic feel that makes you feel right at home. Close to all things downtown and mere steps from one of the best doughnuts spots I’ve ever experienced! Don’t miss Guru doughnuts. I highly recommend. Clean, close to all the things, and the staff were amazing! They have an attached bar and restaurant as well.
