That they have been having this problem for a few days and they weren’t confident that it would work. 2hours later no air no fan even operating. Hot and unbearable in room. “A beautiful pub with stacks of character!! Cosy and inviting. Food was excellent, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Locals also welcoming. The area is so picturesque it was a real treat. Would definitely return and planning to try out Sunday lunch sometime in winter to take advantage of the open fireplace. Miniscule gripe was it would be nice to have some nicer bread at breakfast rather than bog standard e.g. sourdough. But that is not a show stopper!! Definitely recommend, but be aware...
