This cabin should be “Spider Haven” vs. Deer Haven. The photos are deceptive, there was NO VIEW of the mountains, all grown up (summer time) and the canal was stagnant water and NOT flowing and we were not able to put our kayak in. The hot tub has a water leak, so it was below the line and would not turn on and the AC in the bedroom is too loud to sleep, We checked in with the host, Alex, 2 days before arrival and still, the hot tub was not addressed PRIOR TO our arrival and the A/C was set to 80 degrees. We arrived 5:30 PM and the cabin did not cool down until midnight. There are SPIDERS everywhere, inside the cabin too! There "Welcome book" states they take special pride, and keeping our home is clean and as comfortable as possible for our guests, but it was anything but clean or comfortable. Instead of preparing for us the day of check-in by making sure the hot tub is functioning and at 102 and lowering the AC to at LEAST 74, we arrive to spiders, heat, no view, and webs everywhere. They ask you set the hot tub and A/C to 80 when you check out but they do not reset them to 102 and a reasonable temperature before you arrive! We were so miserable here, we left a day early. No pets are allowed but they have a photo of there deceased dog with it's collar displayed in the cabin, creepy and sad. We deserve a refund as it was over $200 per night for 3 nights and it was dreadful!
