The Front Desk Staff Member (Destiny) was very welcoming and so helpful in acquainting us with the layout of the hotel suites complex and all the amenities. She is truly an asset to the Springhill Suites (Marriot) complex in Gardendale. Destiny was very welcoming, friendly and helpful to all the hotel guests. and greeted you each day. The suites are very clean and comfortable, we were very impressed with the design and decor and will recommend this to our family and friends. We look forward to staying with the Springhill Suites again soon.

Breakfast was not good. Cleaning staff was mopping and with same hands they were organizing food. Even after telling it on the reception, nothing changed. There was only one person who was doing everything and was already frustrated. Breakfast was delayed to 7:15 and we had leave by 7:30 am. No veg options, no bread options. No EV charging spots. Rest everything was good. Lady at the check-in counter was very helpful.

Room was clean and comfortable, it was cleaned, beds made and fresh towels second day of stay. Staff was professional and helpful, breakfast was fresh, well maintained area with a nice variety of items. Included parking with easy access to building. A nice variety of sitting areas, laundry, & weight room. Overall a pleasant stay. The negatives I would mention, the pool is very small, and there was noise bleed over from people in the next room just talking and laughing and also in the hallway. Things quieted down by midnight. One other thing to note, the bathroom is nice but depending on who you're sharing the room with, I was there with my sisters, it can be an issue. The door is frosted glass so if you go to the restroom after everyone is in bed and turn on the bathroom light it illuminates the room, if others are light sleepers it can be disruptive. These were all pretty minor inconveniences and would definitely not keep me from staying again.
