“Easy to find, clear instructions regarding keys, etc.. Not a huge amount of things nearby, apart from the nice beach. Perhaps a bit expensive for what it is, but in the summer the easier access to the beach must be a plus.”

The Beetroot is in great location and there are plenty of places to get a drink, food or coffee less than 5 minutes away. The room itself was lovely and the bed was super comfy. “No 42 is a beautifully restored building in the heart of Margate.. The room was exquisite, one of the best I’ve stayed in. I didn’t eat in the restaurant but it too looked fabulous and was fully booked. The issue that lets the hotel down is the lack of staff behaviour”
