“Truthfully, it feels the owners do not C A R E. Either they are selling it, or actually believe this hotel is up to standard. Not worth the price you pay for a night. Pros: - front desk staff are really nice and helpful - we had hot water unlike some other guests - perfect location - gorgeous exterior Cons: - tired, old and run down rooms - rooms smell moldy, carpets are stained, bathrooms are ancient - beds are OK, enough to get you by - no breakfast btw lol they throw some cereal...

“We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. It’s not the cheapest hotel, and not the most fancy...
