This place is great, it's nothing fancy, but very clean and provides the basics. Nice location right on the lake and near the village. We just wanted a reasonably priced room to sleep and this fit the bill.

Loved having the kitchenette with a real frig, a living room and separate bedroom. Parking was right in front with plenty of trailer parking. While there is no air conditioning, there is a large fan in the living area and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. We were very comfortable. Beds were also very comfortable. Great place, will be back next year.

Clean and relatively quiet considering there is no air conditioning. It was quite warm during the day, but it cooled down nicely at night. But this necessitated leaving the window open all night. Given that all units are on the ground floor, some people may not be comfortable doing so.

Very nice! Loved the radiant heat fireplace. Clean, basic but beautifully appointed rooms, very near the lake. Front desk staff was super-helpful; we will stay there again next time in Big Bear.

I was planning my Big Bear get-away a few months ago and was taking into consideration, price, location and activities. This place checked all the boxes and was literally close to everything. Staff was very friendly and room was very cozy. Food is within a 5 - 10-minute walk. Nice little shops all over and everyone is so friendly. if you want a nice little relaxing weekend or 3-day weekend, this is it. The lake was right next to the motel if you wanted to take a walk there. I highly recommend this place!

We were greeted warmly by the staff despite being 4-days on the PCT and carrying some of it with us. 😄 The beds were very comfortable and the water pressure and shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion were high quality. I would absolutely recommend the Vintage Lakeside Inn to other PCT hikers looking for a break in Big Bear.

Nice, clean, comfortable room; within 10 minutes of Bear Mountain resort. Nice restaurant, with lake view, within 100 yards. Only issue was that there was not a single bottle of water, nor coffee filters, in the room.
