“We needed somewhere last minute and I don’t think we could have had any more luck. Really nice rooms, breakfast was brilliant and the staff were so friendly. They contacted us immediately when they found a watch of ours. Fully recommend staying here!”

“The room was clean, shower very powerful, needs a non slip tray, which I have suggested to the team. Bar very well stocked, although the day I arrived they had run out of sherry. I only dined on the first day, very good, pub style food, if a trifle expensive as compared to say the Exeter Inn in Modbury. Breakfast was good, service fine, staff friendly and efficient. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Arran Lodge. would definitely recommend. The food was really nice and the owner who run the place are extremely warm and welcoming. Will surely come back and stay when visiting the town.”

“Absolutely no good if have any mobile issues, lots of stairs to entrance and then depends which room you are in then more stairs. Lovely family running this and very close to marina and pubs, cares etc. Excellent bus service. Parking is not on site.”

“Its was a nice place to stay apart from the staff asking if we could smell weed! I think it may have been my tattoos that made them single us out however we had been out for the evening so we felt a bit like we were not welcome and if it wasn't so late I would have moved hotels.”

“Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me. Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time.”
