On arrival, we were told that three people could not stay in the room, although this restriction was not stated anywhere when booking.My husband had to find and pay for another hotel and stay separately from his family. “Good sized room and comfortable bed. Helpful staff, Can’t comment on restaurant as we ate in the bar, good choice of food there. Leisure facilities excellent, enjoyed our stay in this relaxed atmosphere”

“Claverton staff, food, room and gardens all excellent. The functions on 2 nights in function room and beer garden below our room was noisy and therefore took edge off stay hence the 4 stars and would not return in the future.”

“Registration was cursory. Certainly not rude, just “fill in your details and here’s your key.” No offer of assistance for two seniors to carry suitcases up narrow stairs. No further information offered. Room was adequate. Shower is traditional British style - in a very high narrow tub, very dangerous for seniors in my opinion. Notice in room that no outside food allowed, and may result in an additional charge. Overall good value for money, but more of a two star than a three star hotel. ”
