Room was extremely warm and had 0 airflow even when the window was open, WiFi did not work in the room at all, we were third floor which could’ve been the issue. Bed was like sleeping on a rock. Location was in a good spot very easy to get to the main parts of Berlin. Nothing to nice about it but the hotel is cheap which is a plus

Nice independent hotel

Great small independent hotel in the eastern suburbs. Very good public transport links from hotel to key attractions across Berlin and the Airport. Some nice eating choices near by. The Karlshorst Museum is also close to hotel which is worth a visit in its own right.

Really cute Hotel. The people at the frontdesk were so friendly and you could ask them like everything. From the train station it's a tiny 5mins walk to the hotel. There are only stairs infront the hotel entrance, so you need to carry your luggage, but it's fine. Inside there is a lift for the roomfloors.

For a cheap price the room was clean, the bathroom renovated and the hotel in walking distance from Karlshorst station. Downside was that this night heating and warm water were not working and the tram passes by the hotel all night. For a cheap price and for one night I would stay there again.

Can't recommend.

There was a lot of dust on the paintings in the room. They hadn't cleaned up all garbage from earlier guests. The room was really(!) warm, and if we opened the windows we couldn't sleep from the noise from the cars just outside. No a/c. We couldn't pull the curtains up, since they didn't work. The sheets were clean, and the staff seemed friendly.

Nice sized room with a comfortable bed. Not much in the way of storage. No air con so it was very humid at times as Berlin had a heatwave at the time of our stay. Karlshorst S-Bahn was a five minute walk away and there were a number restaurants on the main drag that the hotel was situated on. Unfortunately, the main road was extremely busy with traffic, trams and emergency vehicles. The trams in Karlshorst run 24 hours a day. With no air con the window had to stay open. I had ear plugs so it wasn’t the end of the world but I’d recommend taking some. In summary, for the price it was a good place and the young chap on reception was very helpful and pleasant.

The toilet was missing the flush and didn't work properly, on the first night the door to the balcony would not close properly (we managed to force it to shut), the receptionist asked us for €23 despite taxes supposedly being covered in the initial booking. Only good things was the location and the price.
