The staff were helpful and efficient on site and the breakfast had more than sufficient options for everyone. The room size was very tight and made movement somewhat difficult as the well the tap bathroom sink while functional did not operate smoothly. In addition sending out a email outlining procedures for using the parking lot was not helpful when it was full 2 weeks prior.

This hotel is nicely within walking distance to the Gate, the Reichstag, the Wall. The staff here were absolutely excellent and so helpful with any questions or directions. I had to have medication stored and they easily accommodated me. My only complaint is that the air conditioning is virtually non existent so it was very hot sleeping and the bed was too hard for my liking. They provide a wonderful breakfast with a very nice variety of food and drinks to meet everyone’s needs. I would stay there again if we ever returned to Berlin

This was a convenient and affordable hotel for Berlin. Across the street from U2 train and 7 min walk to two other train stops. Could get to museum island in 15 minutes and kultureforum in 30. The rooms are on the small side and don’t offer any storage. The beds are oka, but are on the firm side, so I didn’t sleep as well as I’d like to have. Hotel is quiet, which is great. The room was very stuffy and smelled like dirty socks and while the air conditioner did work, it didn’t help much with the stagnant air. Ended up buying air freshener, but smell always returned. The breakfast was delicious with lots of options— croissants, eggs, sausage and bacon, fruit, cereal, yogurt, meats and cheeses. Kept us full all day long!

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Alexanderplatz for our visit to Berlin in December. Pro's: great location, friendly staff, clean rooms, well stocked breakfast buffet, complimentary EV charging. Con's: expensive parking, small rooms, worn out beds & bedding. Overall good value for money for short stays.
