Very well placed near Alexanderplatz and handy for access to underground system and s-line to and from the airport. Lots of activity nearby and good restaurants and bars. Easy walking distance to all Berlin’s centre attractions. Hotel itself very good value. Compact but adequate and very clean room. Breakfast basic and busy at peak times but part of the good value.

Really nice hotel in a great location for most of the sites in Berlin. The staff were very nice and it was very quiet in your room. The facilities in the room were good and the bathroom clean and tidy. Well recommended.

Breakfast was good. The rooms need more attention from maintenance particularly the bathroom showers water going out of shower and annoying. Wish they had kept a kettle to warm water. Outside Breakfast hours even to get warm water reception told us to use the coffee machine 1.5 euros per cup. Location is very good no doubt.

The room was very clean, but basic with no tea or coffee facilities except in the lobby at a cost. We were there for a week with no room cleaning (informed at check-in) Breakfast was excellent, location excellent, comfortable walking distance to trains, bus and tram. Netto shop a few minutes walk for snacks and drinks and lots of restaurants in easy walking distance.

The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from Alexander Platz metro station. The staff are friendly and polite, the breakfast is excellent, and the shower is very good. The only thing that could be improved would be a mini-fridge in the room and a microwave for guests, but in that case, there's nothing to complain about, as it's rare for hotels in Europe to offer that. You can book the hotel; it's great.

Room was small but very clean, nothing bad to say about it. Good bed, quite flat pillows but you can ask for extra pillow from reception. Breakfast was very crowded! You need to queue to get coffee/juice/toast your bread. I think the room is just too small for the whole hotel. Otherwise basic options but enough: yogurt, fresh fruits, warm options and delicious bread rolls as one can expect in Germany.

The H2 hotels are very nice. Clean, sleek, modern Euro. Not fancy and they are largely for sleeping, not hanging around, but they do the job well. The breakfast was reasonably priced and very nice. The breakfast area was also an excellent area to hang around and work while we waited to leave for our train. This one is a short walk from the Berlin Alexanderplatz train station. Would definitely stay again.

We were in the room nearest the lift, typically a guarantee of non-stop noise, but we couldn't even hear it. Hotel receptionists all clear, patient with guests with next to no German, and professional. Breakfast was perfectly fine and never short of options. Beds comfortable. Room warm and draught-free during a cold January stay. Heater / air-conditioning not too noisy. All-round a really solid option.

Good location, close to Alexander Platz and public transport for easy access to historical buildings and sights etc. The breakfast was good, interestingly the cold meat selection was all turkey based rather than pork which for Germany I found unusual. Some of the negatives were: the outside seating space was limited and used by smokers. I found the bath towels small and thin. We were offered room service only after 3 nights. Air conditioning in the room was limited. The room was small. There is no kettle, tea or coffee provision in the room. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. An ok stay.
