Wonderfully landscaped hotel surrounding the pool. Great amenities, including a great hot breakfast buffet.

Long wait to check in, breakfast line was over an hour long. Room was clean enough. Good location, close to piers. Overpriced/overrated.

What could have been improved: 1. The guy at check-in was not as warm as one would expect upon arrival. 2. Room was next to a service elevator which was noisy. 3. Downtown is obviously not the best area to stay but I would have liked to have seen security at the entrances to warn off the local drug addicts. 4. Uber drop off/pick-up is hard as there is no loading/offloading - it’s a very busy road. 5. Bathroom has no privacy screen - you can see the other person showering / OK if you are staying with a partner but very uncomfortable when staying with friends. 6. There was no housekeeping during my 2 night stay. 7. Lifts are dirty, carpets needs a clean. What was good: 1. The rooftop bar/restaurant has brilliant food and a great view. 2. The lady at check-OUT was lovely and kind. 3. Nespresso machine in the room is always a nice touch.
