Pleasantly surprised at how clean and fresh the motel was. It was higher class than its lower cost would imply. The TV remote had a problem, but the friendly staff was quick to address the problem. Without hesitation, I definitely recommend the Benson Motel.

Communication prior to arrival was via text and included check-in information. Check in was seamless, punch in your code and door pops open with key. Steps to second level, room was clean and spacious.

This motel was clean, quiet, and good for breaking up a long car ride across the state. It’s a good value for the price! The no human contact check in was easy and actually preferable to having to wait in line for someone to make a key!

Responsive and pleasant staff. The check-in room smelled mildewy/musty. There was a strong fragrance smell in the room. For those who are sensitive to fragrances, this is always a challenge! (Was it covering up mildew or must?) Ours was a corner room under the 2nd floor - dark. All that said, the beds were excellent - firm. Quiet location as well.

Overall we had a good stay at the Benson Motel. It was definitely worth it for the price. There was a Roku TV in the room which was appreciated. The room was clean and the air conditioning worked well. My only complaint was how muggy and damp the room and bed felt. There was a ceiling tile over the bath tub that was saturated and appeared to have possible mold spots. Other than that I have no complaints. The check in process was super quick and easy.

Check in is different. No human present. Checked in via a person on a screen. The room door lock was tricky and would stick. Bed mattress was.okay for a night. It was quiet.

This Is Our Go To Place In Benson

We enjoy staying at the Benson Motel because it’s clean and the staff is very responsive to our needs. The only negative is, if you are looking for breakfast, you have to go into town to seek the local options.

It is a very good property if you do not need amenities. If you are looking for a basic room only for a nights rest it was a good value.
