The bed was very comfortable and the surrounding area seemed quaint and quiet, I didn't feel unsafe at all. The parking was very minimal, but if you can get a space then it's close to the hotel and it's free. It's close to supermarkets, mcdonalds etc so it's not like you're in the middle of nowhere and it is easily accessible. The lady at the front desk was quite rude and dismissive, as we arrived we said hello and she told us to wait quite abruptly while she did something on the computer. There are two buildings, you check in with one and stay in the other, which is a little bit annoying but not too much of a big deal. The building we stayed in wasn't accessible friendly, if you need a wheelchair or have trouble with stairs and inclines I definitely wouldn't book here as the lift is small and a bit dodgy (it didn't always work) and there's uneven ground outside the hotel. The parking situation was a bit confusing, as mentioned it was minimal and all of the spaces were taken, so we parked overnight in what we thought was overflow parking (there was no sign that said we couldnt park there and other cars parked in the same area.) When we went back to the car in the morning, there was a note on the car saying we were parked in a turning area so we would've liked it to have been a bit clearer where you can/can't park. Overall, you get what you get for the money and it gets the job done, but I probably wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two.

Premises in 2 buildings 200 m apart. Reception and better accommodation (I presume) in one, remainder in the other. Staff members all appear to be English speaking and of Indian origin. Reception staffed by at least 3 people who claimed to have received only 1 day training in the job. Communication and Reception skills very limited. Breakfast bar reasonable but limited in variety. On the last day of our stay the lift in the accommodation building failed. No persons on board but suitcases and 5 floors can be a challenge! No help was offered.

You have to walk down to another hotel to check in. Sitting outside to wait for my partner to get the key, I did not feel this was the best of areas. There was a funky/musty smell that was quite off-putting in the entrance hall but the bedroom area was good. The nearest restaurant is a kilometre away. Only one bed was made up and only one set of towels were present when we got to our room. More were sent up when requested but did not come with a pillow. There was a small cobweb on the windowsill and the bathroom was clean. However when I opened the mirror cupboard over the sink there was a bottle of left behind hair spray and toothbrushes.
