Clean room , staff were lovely especially reception. Great location for M&Ds theme park . First time staying here , would book again . Had a fan in the room , so that was a great bonus during the hot weather . Never tried the hotels food. Overall nice hotel , slightly dated now I would say but I would stay again .

I had a very pleasant stay at Alona Hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and well‑maintained, offering a comfortable environment throughout. The hotel’s location near the lake is truly fabulous, and the property itself is beautiful with ample car parking available. The staff were friendly and helpful, which added to the overall experience. A great stay and highly recommended.

Overall good hotel. Location is good being close to the motorways. Hotel was clean and breakfast is good. Booked a superior room, didn't love that it looked onto the event loading area at the back, so would check location of room next time. On the negative side, guest Wi-Fi doesn't work in the rooms, but they did give us an alternative Wi-Fi to use once we highlighted this. Staff are nice but service could be elevated in line with a 4 star hotel. The reception is not always manned, you have to wait or go look for someone. Also if there's an event on it will take a while to order food/drink in the bar area. Would likely stay again.

We have stayed at the Alona hotel before because of its good location, friendly staff and good breakfast. This time the welcome was unsmiling and the breakfast range was missing some of our favourites. WiFi in our room was intermittent. So still ok for a night but not four star hotel standard

Great hotel, room was immaculate as usual. Staff were great and very friendly. Staff were able to accommodate my request for a room at the front. Breakfast was as always fantastic and fresh. Will be staying again in the near future, in fact, already booked my next stay in March.
