“Location of the hotel is excellent, very close to the amenities in town and being next to the canal made for a pleasant walk. Room was overlooking the canal which I asked for, it did the job required, bed was comfortable and shower was excellent. We stayed on a BnB tariff, breakfast was varied and decent although tinned tomatoes and mushrooms are a let down but that is a personal choice.”

“Great location with safe car park. Friendly staff, good beer selection with every type of Timmy Taylors available. We stayed in the annex, which is new so very well decorated, clean and spacious. Full English breakfast was delicious, would definitely recommend.”

“We arrived at the property to find that we had been double booked and no room was available as the property was now full. We had to find alternative accommodation in the area and we luckily found one property that had one room left. Grassington lodge offered no help in finding alternative accommodation due to their error. Extremely disappointed with how it was all handled and how we was treated and we would never use or recommend this property in the future.”

“Lovely hotel / pub in a very scenic location. Beautiful views. We had 2 cottages for our extended family group of 7 adults/ 4 children. Spent the afternoon enjoying the patio drinks and watching the water flow. Had a delicious Sunday dinner in the lovely upper dining room. Beds were comfortable and had everything we needed . Would definitely stay again .”

“It's a gothic style hotel,and unusuallcompared to today's run of the mill places .parking good . Near the town . Staff where lovely .the dark haired waitress was funny friendly and attentive .all the reception staff where friendly and helpful .the food was very good quality from the talented chef .I hope he stays at this hotel for future quests to experience his food . .we would stay again and will do next year . “A few disappointments. For the price of accommodation I would have expected better. There was a smell of stale cooking in the bathroom which I think could have been coming from the towels...they didn't smell nice at all. The complimentary biscuits were not replenished on the 2nd day. Toast was served on entering dining room for breakfast but was cold by the time breakfast was served. I asked if I could get a latte coffee and was told they don't serve these in the morning. We tried to order a...

“Family room was comprised of 2 separate rooms. Huge shower and bath. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful location / quiet village.”
