The staff were so nice and accommodating -- I arrived after midnight, and the gentleman at the front desk helped bring my bags to my room, and then helped me get a taxi so I could visit my friends. Since it was so late at night, very few taxis roam the streets, so he recommended I try Uber to get a taxi, and it was great.
My room was very spacious, and AC worked very well during the very warm temps outside. There was a periodic blackout every now and then (expected when everyone is maxing out their ACs), but it was very short, so it didn't really affect me when I was it happened while in my room. I'm a digital nomad so I always travel with a computer, and the room had a nice large desk space to accommodate my work sessions.
The included breakfast is great! Lots of fresh veggies and cheeses, as well as hard boiled eggs, breads, and some sliced meats. I only got to enjoy it on my final day, as I was usually out having breakfast with my friends, but it is definitely a good one to take advantage of the next time I'm there!
There is a great convenience store right next to the hotel! They sell drinks, snacks, and plenty of wine and alcohol. I love Turkish sour cherry juice (called "visne"), and they sell it in 1L cartons -- sooooooo tasty!
Also, Land of Legends is only 10min walk away!
The only minor issue was that the bathroom had a bit of a musty smell, but it is not enough to discourage choosing to stay there again, because there were so many benefits to staying here!
