Nice relaxing hotel 10 min drive from downtown trois rivieres, not much directly around and definitely nothing walkable per se (only big roads). No uber delivery after 5pm (not deserved area). Super nice hot or luke warm pools, not crowded, several options for small kids below 12; otherwise more of a senior place ( average 65 to 75 mostly). Food is really decent good (only tried balzac in evening but good small food!!). Staff is kind.

The hotel is great. My only complaint is parking. The hotel hosts a lot of events and often there was no parking for hotel guests when there is an event. There should be parking reserved for hotel guests.

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience, especially considering that we were on vacation and spent a lot of money there. Let’s start with the positives: the property is truly beautiful, and our room was clean. We also had very pleasant interactions with some of the staff. Unfortunately, the overall service was very disappointing. We also witnessed a situation where a employee was scolding guests because they were a few minutes late. We understand that delays can complicate things in the kitchen, but there’s a proper way to welcome and communicate with customers. We’re on vacation and we’re spending several hundred dollars—we simply expect to be treated with respect. Later, we ran into the two waitresses from lunch at the bistro. My mother went to order a Pepsi, and one of them started speaking negatively about certain customers to her coworker, insulting them, even though my mother was right next to them and could clearly hear the conversation. We understand that some customers can be difficult, but talking about and insulting customers in front of other customers is truly unprofessional. We also had a lot of trouble simply getting glasses of water at breakfast. Juice and coffee were served without any issues, but to get water, we had to ask repeatedly—on both mornings. In summary the location is beautiful , the room was clean and some of the staff was kind However, given the price we paid, we expected a much higher level of service and professionalism.
