The Raspberry suite was amazing. The room was very nice and clean, comfy bed, a nice jacuzzi to relax in after a long day walking around Madeline Island and Bayfield. The Inn is in such a great location to everything that Bayfield has to offer.

Cute, Cozy, & Comfortable! Close to shops and restaurants, as well as a short walk to boarding an Apostle Island Cruise or the Madeline Island Ferry. You may want to pack healthy snacks as the area restaurants serve mostly fried foods.

We stayed in the Raspberry Room, and it was delightful! Everything was super clean, and there were so many amenities. I appreciated that the coffee, tea, soap, and even art on the walls were from local artists/businesses around Bayfield/Washburn. It was also a super quick walk to town and the water. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

We will stay here again and again! The room was immaculate, and the amenities of local coffee and tea, and good quality shower supplies were a nice surprise. You can tell the owners care about their guests, but also care a great deal about the property. The room was quiet and we were able to relax. The jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long hike. The location is just a short walk from shopping and restaurants too!

The property is small, but very clean and very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and everything was updated in the room. The property also has a deck with four chairs very nice and quiet back there. The owners were quick to respond to all of our needs, and the property is very walkable right in the middle of everything. We would definitely stay again.

Old house that has been converted to hotel. Just a few rooms. Located next to the Bayfield museum. Very quiet. No one on duty, but outstanding response to questions. You get an email with front door and room code to get in. Good size room, several pieces of furniture, a gas fireplace, Roku TV,(don’t like!). The bed has a high quality mattress and bedding. Absolutely comfortable. Packer coffee as well as local ground coffee. Teas and tea pot. The bathroom has a shower, and a jetted tub. We were completely impressed with the overall cleanliness and condition of the room. The jetted tub was spotless, the vanity did not have a scratch on it. Not a speck of dirt, scum, or mold anywhere. Absolutely would come back Only 1 1/2 blocks from the Manypenny restaurant, which was excellent, both for breakfast and dinner.

Wonderful place to stay in Bayfield. Nice clean well maintained room with a whirlpool tub. Just blocks away from the heart of Bayfield. Great value very happy with the experience.

This house was perfect for the 5 of us staying in Bayfield for a girls' trip!! It was SO cute, we all had our own beds, the full kitchen was so handy, and patio was perfect in the mornings & evenings(: Location is ideal; everything in town is within walking distance and parking was a breeze. The owners were so kind, great at communicating, and gave some excellent recommendations for restaurants!!! 10/10 stars!!

The Great Water Inn

Everything about our stay at the Great Water Inn was exceptional! Although small, the rooms were very well organized with some tasty artwork! The place was thoroughly clean, the bed itself was very comfortable and we loved the organic cottons and organic toiletries! Soaps and shampoos were very nice! The location was ideal and within walking distance to Lake Superior, shops, music opportunities and dining! We took advantage of several recommendations by the owners; Hoops for delicious fresh fish, Mannypenny for a variety of breakfast's, both within walking distance, and a short drive to Good Thyme for fine dining was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to others! We will be back in the future!
