They are making upgrades with big future plans. It was clean and adequate. No it wasn’t the nicest place i have ever been but it sounds like within the next year, it may be one of the best in the area. The staff was second to none. So friendly and helpful. We dealt mostly with Marion and she was worth the stay. The place was clean and nice on the inside. Outside…construction. No big deal. The staff was so great I’ll be back again.

The staff was really great, kind, and accommodating. The rooms are incredibly dated and lacking. There was no blow drier, iron, or even a phone in the room. The tub was peeling and the rooms desperately need a makeover.

A modest and quiet location, a bit dated, but still a nice facility. Don’t expect anything more than coffee for breakfast, and then only in the lobby. Room had a small coffee maker but nothing to put in it. Breakfast area in lobby was vacant, apparently unused. Several very good dining options and shops just a couple of minute drive away. I'd stay here again if I was in the area.

They are working on remodeling, so I'll give them some grace. Room was nice and clean. The young lady at the front desk was helpful & as sweet as can be. On the down side here was a very bright light outside by the window that kept me from sleeping well. The bathtub was old and gross and there was a creepy open vent in the bathroom that I didn't trust.

The room that my family and I stayed in was NOT REPRESENTATIVE of the photos AT ALL. The furniture was very old and worn, probably original from the 70s. The TV did not work at all nor did the phone. They supplied the fixings to make coffee but there was no coffee maker in the room. The stained towels and the walls were paper thin. The room seemed like something you’d rent by the hour. If there are rooms at this motel that look anything like the photos then I’m sure our stay would have been more pleasant. But our room was definitely old and pretty disgusting. It did appear to have a new HVAC unit which worked well and helped a little to drown out the noise from people talking in the rooms around us. I would encourage anyone looking to skip this place, maybe even travel to Baton Rouge. I promise it would be worth the drive.
