This motel is a good stop if you don’t want to spend a crazy amount of money. The hot breakfast was nice. The beds are not comfortable much. The maintenance of the motel is not that great. And since it’s pet friendly, we ended up next to a dog that kept barking and it was frustrating. Overall not a bad stay for the price.

We stayed there 2 different occasions in January. There was hardly anyone else staying at the time so it was quiet.We brought our dog too as they allow dogs.All stores and restaurants are within 15 min walk which is very convenient

This was the worst experience I have had! We arrived and apparently they had been trying to get a hold of us, even though they should have cancelled via Expedia booking. We arrived at 9:00pm just to be told our reservation had been cancelled due to over capacity, but we booked 4-6 weeks prior to arriving so they shouldn’t have confirmed our reservation at that time if they were at capacity. Also my partner and his father got two other reasons why they had to cancel: 1) the rooms were not cleaned due to shortage of staff and 2) they have a water issue. Who knows the truth. I do not recommend. The front desk staff was polite and was empathic to our situation.

We arrived at the Comfort Inn in Bathurst and were very disappointed to find that our room had not been serviced. The bed had no sheets, there were no towels, and the bathroom had not been cleaned after the previous guest. We even found a used bar of soap left in the shower. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, the employee apologized and gave us sheets and towels—but we were left to make the bed ourselves. After traveling, we expected to arrive at a clean, sanitary, and fully prepared room. Although the front-desk employee was polite, simply handing us the missing linens did not adequately resolve the situation. To make matters worse, we were told there was no manager on duty during the weekend, so no one was available to properly address our concerns. This was an unacceptable and frustrating start to our stay. The hotel needs to improve its housekeeping inspections and ensure that a manager—or someone authorized to resolve serious guest concerns—is available on weekends.
