“The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast very good. Pub had a lovely atmosphere. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean.”

“The Castle House is very conveniently located and reasonably priced. Our room was gorgeous, including a wonderful tub for a relaxing bath and a huge, comfortable, fancy bed. Breakfast was delicious and packed lunches were available for us C2C hikers. Our only small gripe was that the hosts were not available in the evening to help us with laundry, but I would still recommend staying here!”

The rooms are spotless, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The highlight has to be the dining—the food is outstanding, crafted with fresh ingredients and full of flavour, complemented by a brilliant selection of drinks. Combined with its picturesque setting and relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, it’s the ideal spot for a relaxing getaway...

“A beautiful property, very clean and well situated. Secure parking and easy access to Richmond. A true welcome and good value for money. Highly recommended.”

“Hicimos noche de camino a Edimburgo. La habitación era espaciosa, cómoda y limpia. El alojamiento era una casa antigua pero reformada y con encanto. El personal muy amable y nos ayudó en todo lo que pudo. No teníamos adaptador de corriente y nos prestaron uno. La comida era buena y tenian una bonita terraza para tomar cerveza”
