The room and amenities were clean and nicely decorated. The staff was helpful and kind. The lobby is what I would picture in a movie setting with hot chocolate by the fire place -which is inspiring me to go back in the winter.

We received an absolutely great deal for a reasonable price. The accommodation was perfect for 2 adults and 2 children, as we had 2 separate rooms, a kitchenette, and a washroom. I would love to stay at the college campus again to save money.

Great choice for a safe economical stay in Barrie. Easy access to the 400 and to town. The rooms are dorm rooms but spacious, well air conditioned and clean. We’ll stay again .

Great location. Typical dorm style so pretty basic but had a full size fridge and microwave. Beds were quite comfortable. Bathroom was a little messy but nothing bad. Everything looked like exactly what you would expect in a college dorm. But for the price, it is unbeatable!

Smooth check in for us. The other people checking in next to us looked like chaos, but I put that on the guests and not the host. It is a student residence. Clean. Basic. Inexpensive. Will totally stay there again. We just needed somewhere to make a basic meal, sleep and move on.

I mean, it's good. but I think they should do a little bit more on package tutoring for family. And everything should included into that, that will be really great. Sometimes the price is what they say. It's not match at the hotel sometimes, but overall it's really good. That is my suggestion.

We stayed here for one night during a baseball tournament, and it met our needs.The staff was friendly and welcoming.You get what you pay for, and for us, it was exactly what it was. The décor is a bit outdated and nothing fancy, but the place was clean and functional. Towels and basic toiletries were provided, which was appreciated.We had two separated bedroom with their own furniture and closets. The kitchen was useful, although there were no utensils, pots, or pans included. The location is very convenient, especially if you're visiting the hospital next door. There's also a shopping plaza about a 4-minute drive away with Zehrs, McDonald's, and other stores. Cleanliness was reasonable. I always check the sheets when I arrive, and they were clean. Nothing raised any concerns for me. I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a short stay and not expecting luxury or lots of amenities. It fulfilled our needs, so we're happy to give it 5 stars.

Great place to stay for a quick overnight

This is the 2nd time I stayed at the Residence and it was very comfortable, clean, spacious & safe both times. Keep in mind it is a student residence and you will see some wear from previous tenants but overall it is very well kept.

The residence is hard to find, they need to put better instructions on the check in details. Signs at the college are hard to read especially at night Rooms were what I expected, howver the cleaners need to be supervised a little better. Counters and touch points are not being cleaned. Rings and dirt on the bedside tables. I used Lysol wipes to wipe everything down when checking in...I do this with all my hotel rooms I stay at. This one I have to say was the dirties for when I cleaned the night stands and desks. The beds are comfortable and quiet for sleeping which is great.
