For me The Social Hub is one of the best hotels in Barcelona. It was actually my third time in a row and while there was a lot of constructions going on the year before, they know finished them and did some really great renovations in the pool areas, the gym, the rooms. My room was on the 3rd floor and super quiet. Really enjoyed my stay.

Shoutout to William and Danny who made our stay so warm and welcoming. Highly recommend to stay here for two solid reasons: first the location is in a fantastic neighbourhood where you are walking distance away from the beach, parks, and local shops. Second the amenities are great here: 2 pools, delicious bfast, gym with sauna and massage chairs. Our room was quiet and clean. There are quirky and clever touches everywhere, we loved the vibe. The only feedback we have is that the hallway smells of old/musty carpet. Not sure there’s a way to air out the hallways. 10/10 and highly recommend.

Overall, I felt the hotel had everything you could need for a comfortable stay with a cool vibe throughout. The atmosphere was generally very pleasant, and there were plenty of positive aspects to the hotel itself. However, the location was a little disappointing. The hotel felt quite isolated, and being surrounded by ongoing construction took away from the overall experience. It made the surrounding area feel less appealing and meant there wasn't much immediately nearby to explore or enjoy. Unfortunately, I also found some of the bar staff to be less welcoming than expected. In particular, one member of staff came across as rather unfriendly and, on occasion, quite rude. This was disappointing, as friendly and attentive service can make a big difference to a hotel stay, especially when travelling solo and you're looking to relax and enjoy the facilities. That said, the hotel itself had a lot going for it, especially the roof top bar and with a more convenient location and a more welcoming approach from certain members of staff, I feel it could be a really enjoyable place to stay.

We found the room quite small and the foam mattresses too hard. Also, the fridge in the room was filled with 14 cans of drinks that we have to purchase, and there was no space to put our own waterbottles. Also we found the breakfast to be quite expensive for a buffet breakfast. Otherwise the space was clean and decorated nicely. We found the nightly room rate to be quite high for a hotel quite far from downtown. On a positive note the neighbourhood was fairly quiet and safe.
