I chose this hotel because it was a 5 minute walk from the main train station(Estacio Sants) which gives excellent connections to the main tourist attractions but the airport also and if you want further connections to Madrid e.t.c. It worked out great for me. The hotel was clean, not overtly busy which meant eating at breakfast (additional fee for which I thought was very nice) was a quiet affair and the single room itself was smart and air-conditioned. It’s probably not for you if you desire an open top pool or gym but in terms of no frills hotel, you really can’t go wrong and I would return here if the price range is similar(£250 for 2 nights)

The AirCon was good but didn't use it. This was in March when the weather is cooler. The I'lla mall is a 5 minute walk away and it's very nice for shopping. This hotel is 30 min taxi from Gothic Quarter or a 1 hour walk. Lots of restaurants and shops along the way.

Check in was good with very friendly staff who recommended a local restaurant we went to many times. Room was clean and made up everyday. There is a mini fridge but no kettle. Windows were triple glazed and there is a double door from the corridor so reasonably quiet. Plenty of hot water and a bath and shower. Easy walk from Barcelona Sants

The hotel itself was situated in a good area so that you could use the metro easily to get around. It was also close to the main train station. The front staff was excellent. However, if you stayed more than one night, they do not refresh the coffee or tea. You only get that on the first night you stay that’s a management issue not staff issue. The Wi-Fi was not constant or reliable. It bumped you out. The building was clean. Beds were comfortable. Front is good. Location was good.

The rooms are super small but if you plan to be outside all day it would be fine. Breakfast was normal for the hotels, include coffee, teas, scrambled egg, bacon, jam, cheese, yogurt, water, cereal and salad. The staff is always attentive and helpful. Fresh water in the entrance is a very nice touch. Walking distance to the old town. Bus stations close by. I would stay here because of the cleanness of the room, comfortable bed and it include breakfast. To the staff, thanks for your help and advice!

Overall, the hotel and our experience were average. The staff were mostly nice and quick to respond to text inquiries. However, there was no wifi in our room, although it worked when we left the room. There was also no laundry available, even though it was listed as an amenity. The outlet plugs were not located in convenient places - only in the bathroom and behind the desk, which was far from the bed. The room size was pretty good but the furniture was outdated. There was also hair on the bed, which was not pleasant to see.

Nice hotel with great staff throughout. Breakfast was good. There are too few electrical outlets, and the location are not too convenient to use in relation to the desk, side table, bed -- recommend to bring an extension cord. Unfortunately one resident on my floor chose to smoke daily, but luckily only the halls were filled with smoke -- didn't reach my room. We informed the front desk and they assured us they would address it quickly.
