Excellent location. Lovely rooms. Rooftop pool is more for a dipping pool, quite small and it tends to be filled with 20 somethings not really suitable for families. Location is very central but parts of it are quite dodgy with homeless people around. The area is predominantly a muslin area. Near to metro and bus and only about half an hour by taxi from airport.

The hotel is good and with friendly personnels. But the area around the hotel is awful. Specifically the shops restaurant at right side of the Hotel when you leave the hotel. It seems Muslims man sitting outside looking bad and sometimes exchanging words when women and girls are passing by. To me it is obviously harassment. If the area is going to be taken care of, the hotel is good.

Lovely hotel in Barcelona and a great location distance-wise to all the attractions and beach. Great amenities in the hotel. Gym was fab. Rooftop pool and bar were a brilliant place to chill out after exploring all day. Great 360 view. Rooms bright, clean and modern although the cleaning could be haphazard. We had to ask for towels a couple of days as they had been taken and not replaced and not everything in the room got refilled every time but the cleaning was great every day. Reception staff couldn’t have been more welcoming and were helpful to speak to at any time of day or night which was lovely. However be aware that it’s not the nicest part of the city. There were a lot of homeless, drunks and others in the immediate vicinity and it didn’t feel comfortable to me or my teenagers being outside, this is compared with other neighbouring areas. A couple of guests reported jewellery being stolen from them in the street outside which is a shame for such a nice modern hotel.

Wow, beautiful hotel. Clean, spacious room, well decorated, very good breakfast with a good choice, beautiful view of Barcelona from the terrace on the 11th floor where you can enjoy a drink...we enjoyed every minute we spent at this hotel. Barcelo Raval Hotel has good service and very hospitable staff. The building is 4-5 stars beautiful like buildings in Vegas style. The vicinity is dominated by Moroccan, Romanian and Middle eastern people. It is trader busy area, constant people on the street. you will be fine as long as you mind your own business. Like anywhere else in the world, there will be a bad spot where shady people hang out and you have to avoid those places mostly at night. I actually witness a group (ethnic) street brawl happened during our stay there. Police are frequently patrolling the area for safety purposes.

Room was clean and tidy and big enough for two adults and a child up to the age of 10 Unfortunately our son is 15 and 6ft 3 so the made up sofa bed was not great this should be stipulated in the information for a triple room. The door to the toilet was far to heavy to open and close for me Breakfast was good but I would invest in a better toaster. Rooftop bar was great brilliant views all the staff were friendly and helpful especially at check in.
