We really enjoyed our stay at the Bluenose and it was very reasonably priced given the time of year we visited (late August during a weekend). Pros: - Very clean, comfortable rooms - Thoughtful touches in the rooms (vanity kits, lots of towels, bathrobes) - Beautiful and convenient location, only about 3 minutes to downtown Bar Harbor - Very nice pool and hot tub - Incredible gift shop right in the lobby—lots of books, toys, souvenirs, snacks, etc. to choose from - Live music on Saturday night was wonderful Areas for improvement: - Rooms still use actual metal keys; this was sort of eclectic in a way but at the same time was not super convenient

The property is older but still outstanding. They have real room keys! Our family loved staying there and the view was incredible. It was really lovely sitting on the balcony while our son fell asleep in the room. Downtown Bar Harbor is a short walk away and you can get the bus back to the hotel quite easily.

Beautiful place especially for older couples. Clean, close to downtown. Rooms are spacious and soundproof. AC slightly loud but working well. Evenings you can spent over nice wine or cocktail and listen to a piano music. Great idea! Love it👍

This property was beautiful. The view of the bay from the 4th floor was spectacular. Room was very nice and bed was so comfortable. Located close to downtown shopping and the harbor. Would defiantly stay here again.

The hotel is lovely and apartments are so comfortable. The kitchen is very convenient and well equipped. Bathroom is large, toiletries are pretty good. We paid extra for a ocean front shower on but had a very partial view, I wish this was disclosed. This hotel is not in the center of town so you have to drive to get to stores and most restaurants which was fine with us as it’s still conveniently located and a lot more quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
