The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved having a table and chairs inside the room and another set on the balcony. Location was great! 10 minute walk to the Shore Walk. 5 minutes to great restaurants and shops. Only a 15 minute drive to most major sites in Acadia. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful place to stay in Bar Harbor. Easy short walk to downtown, way less than 10 minutes, yet quiet location away from downtown noise and traffic. Easy access to Acadia. Cleanest room we've stayed in! Lovely pool, spacious grounds, easy parking. Given high cost of lodging in peak season in Bar Harbor, amazing value.

This is a great location for walking into town or heading into Acadia Park. The hotel is very basic, clean and quiet. We enjoyed walking into town(10 to 15 min ) as parking in town is impossible and expensive. The room is very basic.....nothing fancy. The air conditioner was hard to regulate and very noisy.. other than that it was a good experience.

We had such a pleasant stay at Cromwell. The rooms are spacious and clean and Joy was so helpful particularly when we decided to change our plans and stay an extra two nights which they were able to accommodate. We were so grateful for our time there!!

Very easy parking, clean rooms, and friendly staff. It's just outside town and an easy ~10 min walk to main st with coffee shops, etc. Rooms are slightly dated but well maintained and comfortable. Everything we needed for our hiking trip to Acadia.

Very clean, well maintained property within easy walking distance of downtown Bar Harbor. Quiet location right beside a park. Staff was very friendly, helpful and responsive. Room had big windows that opened wide to allow the breeze in and a big ceiling fan. We were lucky to be there at a time when the weather was cool and we didn't even need to turn on the air conditioner in the room. The chairs outside on the "front porch" were a welcome surprise. We enjoyed sitting out there with our coffee in the morning and in the evenings after dinner. We look forward to returning. Don't let the word "motel" stop you, this is a beautiful property. I can't say enough good things about the Cromwell Harbor Motel!

The Cromwell is owned by kids who were gifted the property by their parents. Out of a 7500 mile road trip. This was by far the cleanest the nicest kept grounds inside and out. Everything looked brand new and still maintaining some charm from their parents era. I made it a point to go to the office and tell the staff only need to be lucky enough to meet two of the kids! We had an amazing experience and will surely be back Refrigerator microwave and a nice coffee station in your room. Brochures and education on the area Easy walk downtown Amazing shops Amazing restaurants There is everything to love about Bar Harbor, Maine!

Just wonderful! A perfectly walkable location just at the front of town WITH PARKING!! NICE! The owner was personable and gave us great recommendations. While the furniture is a bit dated, it is well maintained and clean and comfy. We booked last minute and didnt have high expectations, but we were so pleased. Perfect place to crash after a long day in Acadia.

The property was very well maintained. The hotel was very well maintained. The room was very nice, spacious and immaculate. I wish every motel I stayed at was even close to this property. I could tell the family takes pride in their property. It’s about 1/2 mile or so to the main town walking. I would suggest this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

It is a wonderful place to stay. You can walk to anywhere in Bar Harbor within 20 minutes and parking was $4 an hour everywhere, so it was very nice to be within walking distance to the shore walk and to restaurants and activities. It was about 2 minutes from Acadia. It was very clean and well kept. It was in a very safe area, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend.
