“Nice place in the middle of nowhere, very quiet, large pool , on the seafront, wheelchair friendly. Some nice places around, solid taxi services (contact them before going there; they are very loyal). ”

“Very happy with our 1 night stay as it's always difficult finding good accommodation in Kaeng krachan. The restaurant had plenty of choice Thai & Western and at reasonable prices.”

“We loved out stay at the White Monkey! The staff was very helpful, check-in was quick and easy, and the room was spacious and clean. They arranged for a songthaew to take us around the city, negotiating reasonable prices for us as well. The location in the middle of the city is excellent!”

“The maid can be rude. She sprayed copious amounts of disinfectant spray in my room, but not other rooms. It made me feel discrimination and seemed to imply that foreign people stink. I was having plumbing trouble at home so I rented a room for a week so I would have a place to shower. So it's not like I had stinky dirty clothes or durian in the room. I would come in the morning and shower then leave again. That particular day I had additional appointment so I returned to the room to take an...

“Restaurant shut at 6:30pm; The fried rice was like porridge; they turned the lights off when we were still in the restaurant area. The beds were really hard and coated in plastic so that you woke up hot and sweaty. The rooms were nice but the rest of the place is badly kept and in disrepair. The pool was unusable and full of green algae.”

“Rooms for cleaning staff was friendly. ”

“Good for a one night stay while traveling but there were some serious limitations for a long term stay. First: limited in room amenties such as towels and no coffee or hot water Second: the towels were almost unusable because of age and there were only two bath towels and no others. Lastly: although the listing indicates a restaurant, there is none available. I tried to confirm this via a phone call before I checked in but the staff did not answer. I was able to use Grab but it was very...

“Beautiful and unique room. Easy check in with private parking in front of the room.”
