“Leider sind wir etwas schockiert über das Hotel: Bereits beim „Empfang“ – eine alte Theke – waren wir erst für den nächsten Tag vorgesehen, es hat dann etwas gedauert, bis man dann doch ein Zimmer für uns hatte. Alle dort vorhandenen Unterlagen / Listen waren handschriftlich geführt. Das Zimmer war grundsätzlich zwar einigermaßen sauber, allerdings gab es im Bad Schimmel. Das Bett war nicht benutzbar für 2 Personen - die Matratze war komplett ausgelegen. Entgegen der Werbung im Internet war...

“Internet was very slow. Staff, not great. Nobody works during the night. Freezing cold rooms and when trying to put the heaters on, they don't work. You have to sleep with scarves and jackets on. Breakfast is terrible. Bathroom door is made of glass and the bathroom has a window towards the living room, with the blinds on the living room side of the glass. Personnel always makes sure that you know when they are closing or leaving. Pillows are terrible also, and bedding had a humid feel.”

“Spectacular location and an absolutely charming hotel. Room was massive and breakfast was great. Top tip - if you want to eat dinner at their restaurant (and you do - delicious) make sure to book in advance. Also, if you're considering just doing a day trip to Meissen instead, don't. Stay at least two nights. This town is spectacular.”
