Hotel Nikko Awaji is best accessed from Kobe or if you are driving. Getting around is difficult without a vehicle. To see desired sights would have taken complex and time-consuming bus schedules and transfers. Awaji has no rail service. Best to come here if you are just planning to stay and relax.

The top floor view was excellent with both ocean and park view together. The hotel was very clean and staff was very polite and accommodating with our needs. We could walk around the most part of Yumebutai without getting wet when the weather was bad. Please be aware that the hotel store does not have any decent food option (i.e. quick bites like onigiri or sandwiches) and the other store, which offers fast foods in Yumebutai closes around 4 pm, so without having a car there, you have to plan your meal if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurants (expensive for what they are) everyday.

Buffet dinner and breakfast both were nice but I was asked to pay 5500 jpy for an upgrade to get a room on higher floor. I declined the offer and when I got into my room i realised I got a room with no view at all. I paid hkd 2100 for the room- with zero view.

大人2人と4ヶ月の乳幼児と2泊しました。 予めコットの用意を希望していたため、お部屋に設置していただいておりました。 お部屋の広さもあり、古いながらも綺麗にされており安心して宿泊できました。 いくつか申しますと、2日目は朝食ブッフェのソフトクリームが在庫切れにより食べられませんでした。夏休み期間中の週末なので、在庫は過多に用意するくらいで良いのではと思いました。またコットの毛布にシミがあり、おそらく清潔ではあると思いますが気になりました。またプールサイドのサンベットにパラソルが無く、真夏の直射日光に耐えられないため使用できませんでした。雰囲気も出るため出した方が良いと感じました。 それ以外は非常に満足度の高い旅行となりました。ありがとうございました！
